'Sneaky Snail' Mountmellick Whitework Embroidery Kit

The word ‘whitework’ simply describes embroidery with white threads on white fabric.  There are also some stitch techniques which are exclusive to whitework (pulled thread work, drawn thread work and cutwork).

Mountmellick embroidery is originally from Ireland.

Thick, matt threads are used to create textured stitches. Paired with shiny threads this gives a beautiful effect.

This design fits an 8 " or 10 " (20 or 25 cm) ring frame.  It is perfect for beginners.

The kit explores lots of surface stitches which are fundamental to many types of embroidery.

In the box you get full instructions for each stitch, with tips on how to achieve the best results.
