Laurelin

By Lizzy Pye (nee Lansberry)

I am an embroidery tutor, classically trained on the Royal School of Needlework Apprenticeship. I graduated in 2009 and have been teaching embroidery for over 15 years. I am proud to be a Fellow of the Royal School of Needlework.

I am passionate about passing on my skills through teaching, and preserving both skills and heirlooms for future generations to enjoy. I love all embroidery techniques and struggle to choose a favourite, but I am most drawn to detailed work.

The thing I love most about my work is encouraging my students to achieve their best, and have a great time getting there. Embroidery is joy!
